Pack your bags for a fabulous family holiday in Runswick Bay and unwind at Inglenook Cottage. This charming 3 bedroomed home can sleep up to 6 people in two doubles and a bunk bedroom, two bathrooms and offers accommodation over 2 floors.


Plenty of outside space for al fresco dining, cosy corners for reading a book under a blanket or star gazing at night. 2 medium well behaved pets are welcome at no extra charge.
Inside the cottage, the spacious kitchen is perfect for big breakfasts and catch ups over dinner, while the spacious lounge with seaviews is ideal for family card games and wholesome conversations.

In more detail, Inglenook Cottage, Runswick Bay can sleep up to 6 people and allows 2 well behaved pets as follows:

Entry to the cottage is via the quaint blue stable door directly into the spacious kitchen. Comprising

  • large dining table, highchair available, dishwasher, oven and induction hob, coffee machine, microwave, full size fridge / freezer, washing machine and plenty of pots and pans
  • off to the right is a ground floor bedroom with double bed and single bed over (see photos), TV, sofa and ensuite bathroom with shower. A window seat enjoys views over the garden and towards the sea
  • upstairs (stairgates in place) you will find the main bedroom with king size bed and chest of drawers and sea view, house bathroom with 3/4 bath and shower over and sink and toilet, a bunk bedroom (please note the bunk bed is only suitable for children) and....
  • the spacious lounge with various seating, large window seat with sea views, wood burning stove and TV (please bring your own logs)
  • Outside there is a large seating area with pebbled garden and nautical themed wavy fence with table chairs and views of the bay.
  • The cottage is just 2 minutes from the beach
  • A Residents car park permit is included in the rate for one car. Additional cars must use the Pay & Display car park. EV Charging is available at the top of the bank.

From the A174, approach Runswick Bay via Ellerby Lane and turn right into the lower village down a steep 1:4 hill.
Inglenook Cottage is in the main lower village of Runswick Bay.
Arrive at the mini roundabout and the property is set back on the row of cottages on the left

Please note there are a number of steps up to Inglenook.

One car parking permit is provided for use in the Resident’s Car park for the duration of your stay. Additional vehicles must pay and park in the public car park. The permit does not guarantee a space. EV charging is available at the top of Runswick Bay on Bank Top Lane via North Yorkshire Council.
